Harley Benton Custom Line ResoKing BK

I came to Thomman to buy a different guitar, but when I saw this resonator for such a low price, I couldn't resist and now I have two new guitars.
Bad things first. The wost thing I found on this guitar is the nut. It is visibly unfinished and ugly, also it is too low resulting in too low action, especially for slide. Also, I am not satisfied with the strings provided. They are rather light and sort of sharp on touch (actually, they do grind my brass slide). There are some minor flaws in painting on the body that I consider irrelevant.
The most advantage is that it is the most affordable resonator guitar that is actually joy to play. The body is small, so it does not sound as loud as a regular resophonic guitar. I mark this as a good thing necause I usually play alone in a rather small room. And the look... it is just beautiful.
Overall I really do like this guitar. The sound of resonator without the loudness. And it is just too cheap to not buy it.
I only played it unplugged, so I can not tell anything about the pickups, but I consider them as a nice bonus.
EDIT: I just changed the nut and the strings and now the guitar is amazing!

Bought this because it was cheaper than replacing the bridge pickup on my expensive resonator guitar. Overall very pleased and I have gigged it several times. I use it for slide playing and the action could be a bit higher - I may change the nut.
I had a problem with the body - the wood is quite thin on the edge of the control cavity and broke away, probably when loading the car, though I do take care of my instruments. I was able to repair this myself; cosmetically it's not perfect but it is only visible to the back.
A minor issue is that the string retaining bar on the headstock is crooked - it works fine but looks a bit odd.

Looks: Amazing its a les paul resonator I mean come on

Sound: The two pickups together can get a crazy amount of tones and there are some really sweet spots.

Finish: Nothing wrong anywhere, a few drips in lacquer but I dont care about that at all.

Set up: This is where it gets bad. I had out of the box the 3rd fret E B And G string sounded like a sitar, and not in the good way. I got my file out and did a little truss rod work and its fine now but its clear that quality control needs to be improved. In fact I would have paid 20 euro more if they would have just levelled the frets right in the factory before sending :L

Overall: I'm happy (aside from that fret which looks like crap from my bad filing job lol)
