Tolle Songs, abwechslungsreich, Schriftgröße prima, Bindung prima, anstelle CDs könnten Ressourcen geschont werden, wenn die Aufnahmen online abrufbar wären. Aufnahmen sind zum Üben in Ordnung. Aus der Reihe würde ich durchaus wieder Songbücher kaufen.

Das Buch ist wie die beiden Vorgänger aufgebaut. Allerdings wird hier nichts zu den einzelnen Stücken beschrieben. Einfach nur das Schlag/- Pickingmuster zusammen mit dem Text.

Mir persönlich ist die Auswahl der Titel viel zu Pop- lastig und zudem wiederholen sich einige Titel die bereits in "Lets play guitar - Band 2 " vorkommen.

Gut spielbar, Akkorde,Picking,Begleitrhytmus alles gut erklärt.
Mit einfachen Akkorden nah am Orginal, man kann direkt zum Orginal mitspielen. Oder CD verwenden.
Kapodaster kommt öfter zum einsatz.
Bei manchen Titeln sollte man schon ein bißchen spielen können oder halt üben,üben. Ich finde das Buch empfehlenswert.

Eine nette Sammlung von auch mal etwas zeitgemäßen Songs, die junge Menschen wenigstens zum Teil kennen. Die Songtexte mit den Akkordbuchstaben darüber, die Takte nicht immer einfach zu erkennen. Sie gehen teilweise "um die Ecke". Der Autor hat dafür seine Gründe, es erschwert das Arbeiten leider eher, als das es hilft. Dafür gibt es 2 CDs und sogar eine DVD, auf denen man die Song (natürlich nicht von den Urprünglichen Interpreten) hören kann. Bräuchte man nicht unbedingt, wozu gibt es youtube?! Die Melodien sind leider nicht in Noten oder Tabulatur dargestellt. Das wäre noch ein schöner Zusatz für den Unterricht und würde das Erkennen der Taktstruktur stark vereinfachen. Alles in allem, trotzdem eine brauchbare Sammlung von Songs für den Gitarrenunterricht.
