Great bass for jazz!

I bought this short scale left hand bass to play in an 'acoustic' jazz band (vox, keys, sax and bass, no drums). The bass arrived well packed and was playable more or less straight out of the box. The only change I made was to swap out the supplied strings with some nice smooth wound black nylon ones for that mellow jazzy bass sound. Would recommend!

beautiful bass and excellent value for the price. As a lefty I have limited options but I did not hesitate when I saw this GUILD beauty. It needs little adjustment but it plays well and it has a mellow jazzy Beatleshiesque tone :)

Levorukých baskytar je mnohem omezenější výběr než těch pravorukých, obzvlášť pokud jde o ty semi-akustické. Ale Guild rozhodně není žádná volba z nouze. Obzvlášť po výměně strun, round-wound jsem vyměnil za flat-wound má baskytara krásný plný zvuk, za který by se rozhodně nestydě ani James Jameson. Je to perfektní, ještě tak hrát jako on.
