Bought this in response to drunk people knocking my previous stand over while dancing. Hasn't happened once since, every part of this is very well built and its nice and heavy. Highly recommend.

Heavy and stable
Good option for any mic, specialy expensive drum overheads without going to crazy expensive options meant only for studio.

Very Heavy
Compare to the K&M regular it's like 2 times heavier ! It's very smooth and it will become my first choice for now. I still like the K&M and will see if gravity is as durable but for now it looks better better quality and more secure with the heavy base
