Gotoh has the power to make every turn, no matter how small, actually do something internally between the gears. If you've bought inexpensive guitars, you might have noticed that sometimes you have to turn the tuning pegs too many times before you notice a change in tension and, therefore, in the sound or tuning of the string you want to tune. This doesn't happen here. Gotoh does it brilliantly.

I got these to replace the worn ones on my first guitar. These look good, they turn well, and they are well made. I'm very pleased that I bought them. Incidentally, the packaging for them is a work of art in itself.

Used in a refurbishment of a 1987 Charvel Model 2. The original black Jackson (aka Gotoh) tuners are in perfect condition after 40 years. The new ones are just a vanity project (and just as perfect).
