Cumbersome
The product is perfect and well made but I dont use them anymore. Theyre very wide and flexible on the low frets and barely fit from the 15th fret onwards. Poor design.

Handy tool for guitar maintenance.
Very useful item to help one quickly polish guitar frets with 0000 steel wool without damaging the finish of the fretboard. Just be careful to not let the steel wool bits get on your pickup poles and inside the pickup enclosure. I understand that they can eventually damage the coil wire eventually and cause your pickup to cut out.
I recommend this little Fretboard Guard; useful and cuts down on the time necessary to spend polishing the frets.

Not gonna lie
Thomann website told me to rate this and win 1k, so here I am.
But honestly, how can you make this kind of thing bad? 10/10, 5/5 :)

Effective guard, 3 mm slot
Does its job as intended. The slot is 3.0 mm wide by my simple ruler measurement. That fits the jumbo frets on my Ibanez S electric guitar snugly and exactly, and leaves a little clearance around smaller frets.

Thomann - Good People
This was sent to me free of charge to put right a very minor issue. That’s what I call good customer service. Little touches which mean a lot.

Easy and useful tool
I bought this little useful tool so that I could easily clean and polish the frets on my guitar. The fretboard guard does a perfect job in protecting the fretboard without having to tape down the entire fretboard or risking the fretboard to get damaged.
