Thoman team don't care about QC, if you don't pay a little bit extra!
it's matter of lucky and we are talking about more or less 2400 EU, i can't figure out how is possible sell instrument like this one with several issues such as:
pickguard plastic is stick to body in the right side close to neck pick up: when i remove pickguard i had to face big stain to the body: removed was don't easy trust on me.
now pickguard missing part of the flower paint because of is left to body. unbeliveble
There were a couple tiny slivers of plastic that were left on by the fret nibs, dust and dirty parts along the rosewwod.
The the pickup selector switch turn itself and will crack off quickly
the neck is completely to repair, scratches and little holes on the wood
strings hit the frets with classical buzz issues so i had to pay liuther to fix all the balance, adjustment and check the relief.
I debated sending it back but at the end of the day i decided I just didn't feel like dealing with it.
I like the guitar over all, it's the bottom series " new standard", sounds like all those defects are sloppy Qc but fixable.
I was not impressed with the QC by Gibson first of all and then Thoman as customer.
It's absurd deal with this type of relationship: this isn’t to tell that I think they’d be intentionally sending out substandard guitars, but I firmly convinced it’s time to change perspective. The guitar sounds like B stock definitively (full price version)
I' ve asked to Thoman fast shippment ( extra money more) and the items arrived one day later. At the end they refound me ( thanks) but some of the crew were annoyed to answer by phone my question.
Considering the cost i can't reccomend this model, stressing out that this only my simply opinion i don't want hurt someone's feeling
