The Gibson Elvis Dove model is based on a customised Gibson Dove from 1969, which was given to the King of Rock'n'Roll by his father Vernon Presley and which Elvis played regularly at concerts from 1971 to 1975 - including the Aloha From Hawaii concert broadcast by satellite in 1973.
