I hope this helps other looking for a bag for the MODX M8. This one is a perfect fit for that keyboard. The generic Yamaha one is too expensive and I think this one is an ample substitute. I had read another review where someone said it fits their Fantom so I wasn't sure it would work with the MODX M8 but it's a perfect fit.
There are two straps inside if you like securing the keyboard. Padding is good but I did have one issue. The padding on the front end of the bag under the zip and running the length of the bag appears to have folded over onto itself. It arrived like this and meant that section wasn't protecting the keyboard 100%. I spoke with Thomann and even though they offered a replacement I decided to keep in and hope the foam will right itself with regular use and having the MODX in it.
There are three front pockets, one large one for a music stand, another one for leads and a smaller one for sustain pedal. Some have sections for pens, pencils as well and some elasticated sections to keep things in place. They are all deep pockets as well so should fit most stands etc.
It's early days yet and it has to endure the rigors of gigging but it's a sturdy looking case and Im happy with it.
