I bought this in early 2011 for my bass pedal board and use it in combination with an Rocktron Midi Mate controller. The four pedal loops can be controlled by Program Change or Control Change commands. The Midi thru is very helpful to connect my rack effects unit. It fits perfectly on my pedal board. Leds show the status of the loop. Four knobs can switch the loops on or off manually. A micro switch can switch on/off the silent switching function, which works perfectly. The bypass is great. No complaints, it works the way it should work! Never had any problems with it.

MIDI 4 x loop switcher, rock solid, and instant switching

This is one of three G Lab devices I have, and like the others, it is really well made, and very reliable. It's more or less a permanent part of my rack setup, and uses MIDI commands from my G-System to instantly switching four stomp boxes in or out.

The G-Sys only has four pedal loops (three if you're using a multi-amp setup like mine), and it isn't perfect. The G's loops are after an input buffer, so they mess with old school fuzz pedals, and the switching isn't instant - there's a noticeable (albeit very short) delay with its relays. Enter the G Lab MIDI switcher. Four loops in front of the G-Sys's input, completely passive signal path, true bypass, and no delay that I can detect.

This is a great little box, and I'd recommend it to anyone with a MIDI rack setup that includes stomp boxes.

Excellent product. I use it to place some pedals in front of the amp and have everything midi controlled. Manual is a bit unclear, but with some trial and error you get it set it up.

Great Addition to GLab GSC

This was very helpful giving me more control options combined with my GSC-2. It allowed me to also add my eventide *Factor pedals and have much greater control of it and my overall sound.
