Fredenstein Artistic Mic Pre Plus

Purchased with the idea of sampling Fredenstein gear. It sat in a Radial Cube with a SSL six and Cranborne Camden.

I've liked it enough to call it a keeper, used it 4 times, a little over a year and a half passed. Tried using it today, it's defective and send scratchy noises at very high level in my interface. Swapped it to another rack, and swapped cables. It still makes noise, even without anything hooked-up to it.

I'm not touching any Fredenstein products ever again.
