Best bass overdrive ever!

Natural, transparant and touch sensitive. Retains all low end too. Makes my solid state amps sound great and my tube amps amazing. Don’t expect loads of gain. Really kills the ‘on the edge of breakup’ thing. Can’t seem to turn this one off ever.

This pedal is great. The SAG control is fantastic for getting that amp-on-the-edge feel, and it reacts like crazy to input level changes—especially with a boost. Super versatile, from tight drive to a crumbling, dying amp sound.

Superbe overdrive pour un léger crunch

Utilisée avec basses passives et actives, la pédale resitue parfaitement le son de l'instrument, pas de perte dans les graves, c'est une des pédales la plus naturelle que j'ai pu tester. Elle est géniale pour restituer le léger overdrive d'un ampli à lampe un peu poussé. Je l'adore quand elle est juste à la limite entre le clean et l'overdrive, on peut contrôler l'effet par l'intensité du jeu sur les cordes.
Je l'utilise branchée sur un ampli à lampe AMPEG PF20T (full tube), l’intérêt est d'obtenir cette légère saturation sans devoir pousser le volume à fond.
Pour ceux qui connaisse, poussé un peu plus, elle permet d’approcher de près le son de Jack Casady sur "spare chaynge", un graal que je cherchais depuis longtemps.

Der Barbershop ist mein absolutes Lieblingspedal für den Bass. Benutze es seit Jahren Live und als "always on" Pedal. Macht aus einem cleanen Sound einen angenehm warmen "Retro"-Sound.

Auch im Studio ist das Pedal für einen High-Gain Overdrive Sound genau das richtige, es gehen keine Bässe verloren und der Drive klingt nie künstlich und sitzt perfekt im Mix.

Das Pedal ist sehr robust verarbeitet und wirkt unzerstörbar. Der Preis ist für mich persönlich absolut gerechtfertigt, könnte aber natürlich etwas niedriger sein.
