Not for mesh heads
I got this to protect my bass drum head from tearing. Played with felt beaters (my mistake) and the first patch stopped sticking after about a month. Cleaned the head thoroughly and changed to plastic beaters. After one month it stopped sticking. They did not work for me.

Terrible product
The material is so abrasive that after only 3 months of use my iron cobra beaters were damaged beyond use (worn out), and the patch got a big hole on it. So now I have to buy two new beaters and a different brand patch… These are probably ok with acrylic beaters, but with regular felt beaters it’s absolutely terrible. It should be advertised for acrylic only. I reached Tomand about it, but they didn’t care just claim it was normal wear and tear.
