I put these on a really crappy , cheap ass thinline acoustic I have, so they had their work cut out anyway; it's never going to sound great. I have Elixirs on my proper acoustics (which are unbeatable) but I like EB's for the electrics and thought I could save a buck... Nah. I used to put the bog stock Martin strings on this one and will go back to them. They last ages, but the sound drops off real quick. These died within a couple of weeks. A failed experiment. Spend the money and get the Elixirs
