Standard strings, lacking in quality
Having used these strings for many years on my electric guitar, I have become disappointed with the quality of these strings, as I normally use them for studio recording. It seems now that they are more likely to snap within the first couple of weeks of playing, especially the D string. Just a hunch that these strings used to be brighter too.

They get rusty in no time
Something happened with Ernie ball quality, as the sets I bought recently get rusty in no time. It didn’t happen before and doesn’t happen with other big brands (so it is not my hands, sweat etc). For now I wouldn’t be buying EB strings anymore.

Unfortunately poor quality
Not sure if the poor quality was just on this one and only set I used, but the quality of the strings were corroded and created some very strange overtones

Not for me
I don't know why, but I really don't like Ernie Ball strings.
Maybe it's because I enjoy playing downtuned metal (on other guitars), but when I restrung my strat with these it just felt too bendy. They seem to wobble around and just don't feel right.
I have since replaced them with D'Addario XLs in 9-46 and I'm much happier with the feel. I can't comment on the sound as I changed them back out pretty quickly.
