Easy mastering

Revised review based on new firmware, great all around except for a major bug which makes it unusable in my use case which is why it only gets only 2 stars

pros:
-Easy to grasp controls
-leds in the top give great insight into what the compressor is doing
-Great multiband compressor (new firmware made it much better)
-Side chaining and mid/side controls makes your audio vibrant and alive
-Handy gain and EQ to quickly boost or make small changes to your sound
-Handy sound design tool by being able to disable separate parts of your sound with a simple click

Con:
Side chain controls are lacking, while they work really great to glue your sound together the lack of a decay and limited depth don't let you make pumping swells

BIG con
when using large ambient drones the pedal does not seem to able to handle this and starts breaking the sound making large crackling distorted sounds while the input is around 0 to 3 db (so its not clipping)

EDM end-of-chain solution

The solution isn't as versatile as plugins; for example, there's no crossover frequency selection, no detailed comp adjustments.

It is not a knob-per-function solution; it requires a bit of memory for some shift-key combinations and requires you to keep in mind what parameters were set on previous pages (m/s, comp, eq), which can be a bit stressful if you use the pedal as an active effect live. It would be nice if the potentiometers had LED indicators displaying the current value of each page, but that's not absolutely necessary.

Overall, the sound is good. In my opinion, the device is geared toward electronic dance music. Personally, I can't say it would be as useful in an acoustic or jazz band as an end-of-chain solution, due to the pre-set values that the pots operate at in comp mode.

The pedal has a frequency-adjustable sidechain input! It's interesting for DAWless setups.

P.S. If high-frequency noise appears when the device is connected, use a separate power supply or a separate output from an isolated power supply; do not connect it in a chain with other pedals.

Habe nach langem überlegen mich zum Glück endlich dazu entschieden mir den Golden Master zu kaufen.
Die Probleme welche manche haben bezüglich Rauschen, kann ich nicht bestätigen.
Klar fängt es an zu rauschen, wenn man den Gain oder auch den Out ganz auf dreht aber das ist ja bei allem so, dass es ein gewisses Grundrauschen entwickelt. Da muss man n bissl rum schrauben bis man für sich den perfekten Sweetspot bekommt :)

Es hilft natürlich sehr, wenn man so vorab schon weiß, was und wie ein Kompressor funktioniert :)

Hat auf jeden Fall meine Klangqualität extrem verbessert und auf einer großen Anlage (Line Array) hat sich alles soweit auch sehr rund angehört.

Für den Preis definitiv eine Kaufempfehlung!
