Yet another good Elixir string set
This set came to together with another Elixir set for baritone guitar - Elixir Nanoweb Baritone. Classic gauge 9-46 with signature Elixir brightness perfectly works on Strat-, Tele- or any other single coil type of guitars adding even more twang to your clean tone. This is first thing I enjoyed in this strings set.
The second surprise is crunch and drive effect - this set brings quite balanced tone. Not perfectly, but it is good to have a bit extra presence and pronunciation. In the mix or in live band situations you will be easily heard.
Same as set for baritone - these strings lives a long time. To be honest I find more profitably to get this set for its price than buy two sets of different strings. I really like how long they last. You may sacrifice something that you like in other strings tone but if you want to put one set that could live a long time - you probably should go with this Nanoweb series.
Signature Elixir coating also reduces a bit extra finger noise that fingers produce changing position on a fretboard.
Overall string quality is superb they hold tension very well during whole their life and no any flabbiness is noticeable even in drop-tuning moments. The one more thing I?ve noticed is that you do not need a lot of time to wait them to stretch when put new set on guitar. They don?t lose their tension so much at the beginning as well. These are put?n?play strings, I?d say.

Long-lasting, stable and worth it — especially for floating trem setups
As someone working long shifts in a hospital, I don’t always have the time or energy to constantly change strings — I just want to pick up my guitar and play.
That’s exactly why I keep coming back to Elixir Nanoweb 9–46.
What I appreciate most is consistency. I can leave my guitar for days, come back after a stressful shift, and the strings still feel and sound right — smooth under the fingers, stable in tuning, and with a clear, balanced tone that doesn’t fade too quickly.
On a floating bridge setup, tuning stability is crucial for me, and these strings handle it reliably. They also hold up surprisingly well against sweat and long sessions, which is something I’ve struggled with using other brands.
It’s a small thing, but after a long day, not having to think about your gear makes a big difference. You just play — and that’s exactly what I need.
For me, these strings are less about hype and more about trust.
I’ve tried several brands before, but I keep coming back to these.
Highly recommended.

A tone that lasts
I was very pleased the first time that I bought these. Comfortable tension so it's easy to play and that new string tone is of course the best part about these strings. Even when playing everyday the strings still felt new and sounded like new. Usually with new strings that tone wears off after just one day but Elixir strings maintained that tone for a much longer period of time. When I bought a bass which had Elixir strings on it, (I played it for only about 3 hours a week) and the strings still sounded new after like two months or more.
Definitely worth buying because the strings sound and feel new for a much longer time therefore they don't even need to be changed that frequently so it's not just the tone durability but you can also save some money from not buying new strings that frequently.

Elixir is 10/10, as always
I've been using Elixir strings for the last decade now.
It's a great choice if you don't want to restring your guitar weekly and/or have sweaty hands 😅
Sounds great, feels natural, lasts long, and costs about average. 100% recommend

My absolute favorite
I have 9 guitars now and most of them have this set of strings on.
The brilliance, longevity and sound of these strings is legendary.
I am not a strings snob (Hb bass strings are the best), but I have these strings on all my regular guitars.
As someone with multiple guitars, I´d suggest the following;
- FastFret your strings BEFORE and AFTER playing
- Put the guitar back in the CASE after using
- Repeat
These particular strings sound and feel much superior to the usual brands.
They last forever and the brilliance fades extremely subtly.

Taylor can't be wrong...
I use them on my Taylor 310 for studio recording only. I have a major issue with strings corrosion and Elixirs solved it... Taylor guitars use them as their stock strings. They can't be wrong... I tried other strings on my acoustic but i think they are the best. Full low and low mid tone and great hi mid and hi... All sparkling and for a long time... I change strings every 4-5 months.

We use them for half step down tuning on Music Man Luke III.
Very are satisfied with them.
They sound very good aftel long period of time.
We recommend them.
Even though they are a little more expensive that other strings you will find yourself saving money by buiyng these strings.

Best String Brand
It's Elixir, they last long, sound great for months and don't get covered with junk immediately.
Using this gauge for E standard on both my 6 strings and 7 strings, both 25.5" and 26.5", works great. Light snappy high strings for solos accompanied by chunky low strings for tight rhythms. Exactly what I need!
