Simple compressor, without getting trivial

I bought this pedal to improve the behaviour of my "freqout" pedal (feedback creator), and I'm not disappointed. But I've gone further than that, and found that this is a very versatile, yet easy to use, piece of equipment,

In addition to the typical "sustain" and "attack" controls, it allows to blend in the dry signal, which allows for an additional, subtle layer of control.

The pedal is very solid, very sturdy, and heavy. However, the knob controls
are delicate and provide a good feeling when operating them.

The only drawback? Let's say that it's not the cheapest compressor available.

Really nice options, you can set it up for variety of different use types.
Sturdy, well built and looks interesting. Great choice of knob options.
Sounds great as funk comp also does awesome job as sustain for singing solos.

Only con is bit of hiss on higher levels. Nothing extreme. For this price really good and flexible comp.
