If you’re using this live with a band it might be fine for your purposes. The moment I tried using it in a studio context I quickly realised how low quality it is. Specifically, the problem is that no matter how hard I try to tighten the screws, this stand rattles horribly. Miked up in isolation with a quality expensive studio mic it becomes apparent that this stand is amateur level at best.
