though its made of a harder rubberised plastic. Which means once you put a pick in it, it holds it well, but after some time the pick is there, the holder will adapt to its shape and it goes out too easy. Don't know if you can leave the picks inside for a long time without affecting the item's functionality

This pickholder is not that sturdy and so it can wiggle and not hold the picks as firmly as I would have liked it. This is more pronounced with picks of different thicknesses (which is what I use).
