Dragonfly Percussion CYBB Cynthia Yeh Baseball Bat Triangle Beater, unique new beater was the brainchild of Dragonfly Artist and Chicago Symphony Principal Percussionist Cynthia Yeh. It is precisely what it looks like- a miniature steel baseball bat. And it sounds fantastic on just about any triangle. The total length is a bit shorter than most triangle beaters and the barrel of the bat is longer and heavier than most beater heads. But somehow, for reasons only Cynthia intuitively understood before we even made a single prototype, this thing just feels right and functions perfectly. The carbon steel barrel is harder and clearer than brass, but is less ticky than stainless steel. It is full bodied and easy to control at any dynamic, making it the ideal go-to, work-horse beater general beater
