Direkt nach dem Aufziehen klingen die Saiten wunderbar brilliant und ausgewogen. Die Haptik ist beim Spielen sehr angenehm. Aber leider wird der Klang recht schnell dumpf. Ferner sieht man schon nach einigen Stunden, dass sich die Beschichtung im Bereich der Bundstäbe schnell abnutzt. Da bleibe ich doch lieber meinen Elixier-Saiten treu.

Ich hatte mir die Black Beauties anfangs nur wegen der Farbe bestellt & kannte DR Strings bis dato nicht.
Musste aber sofort feststellen das nicht nur die Farbe sondern auch der Klang einwandfrei ist.
Mein Fazit:
Top Verarbeitung-Farbe hält auch nach längeren Spielen.
Soundqualität Spitze - sowohl bei den hohen als auch bei den tiefen Noten.
Nicht umsonst hab ich die Saiten für meinen 4 & jetzt auch für meinen 5-Saiter aufgezogen.
