Excellent quality for a very low price. This pickup offers the easy solution for the players who want to get rid of the pickup hum from original single-coil pickups and still retain the characteristic jazz-bass sound. The sound is well-balanced and suitable for most players and styles.

This set replaced the original single-coils from my fretless MIM Fender Jazz Bass and sits not perfectly in the pickup slots. Compared to Dimarzio DP149 Ultra Jazz this set is more traditional and offer more round tone. A good bassist always know to stay away from treble.

The popularity of this pickup speaks for itself. It's really difficult to match the quality in the same price range.

A fantastic upgrade

These PUPS brought my Warwick Corvette passive to life! They really accentuate the famous Warwick growl. A highly recommended upgrade over the standard MEC pickups.

for the price these bad boys are insane!

I needed lots of low end for ACDC and boy did I get it... nice mids too and enough treble for the funk and jazz.

Beautifully warm tone and can add crunch when needed.

over all a very satisfied customer.

The BEST jazz pickus, if you are into "old sound"

Great lows and mids. Old school sound. I've tried the Dimarzios Ultra Jazz but they are too modern sounding. If you like HiFI bass sound these are not for you, but if you like dark sound, with a lot of pressece these are the best you can get, better than SDs quarter pounders. Output is high, and hum not present. I have all my "fender like" basses with Dimarzios.

Clean, well defined sound - a massive improvement over stock p/ups

Fitted to a mid-nineties MIJ jazz bass. Very, very happy with the result - clean, well-balanced and articulate tone. Also, they are less prone to buzz than the old ones. The adjustable poles mean fine-tuning response for each string is a doddle. Very happy with this purchase
