Habe den PAF im meiner PRS Custom 24 in der Halsposition und muss sagen, dass ich ihn dort auch nicht mehr rausnemen werde!
Es ist kein High Output Pickup, sondern eher im Mid-Range Bereich anzusiedeln. Aber dort verbringt er wirklich sehr gute Arbeit. Leicht angeschlagene Töne haben schon einen leichten Single-Coil Charakter bringt daher sehr viel Farbe mit ins Spiel, vor allem bei Blues ähnlichen Licks.
Bietet in Kombination mit einem High Output Pickup in der Bridge ein sehr großen Soundumfang.

Deze pickup zit bij mij in de halspositie van mijn Fender jaguar HH. Klinkt fantastisch en scheurt als een beest. Clean is deze gitaar plotseling een overtuigende jazz gitaar.

De 'aged' relic ziet er op de foto op de Thomann site dramatischer uit dan het is. De nickel cover over de humbucker is niet glimmend nieuw, maar zeker niet zo afgeleefd als het op de foto lijkt.

Een aanrader voor een humbucker sound met niet al te hoge output. Ik vind dat fijner tov hoge output, omdat ik meer controle heb over de hoeveelheid 'scheur' die ik uit m'n versterker haal.
