Really Nice Pickup - neck Position

I have this in the neck position of a rather old (30+ years) Washburn G8V superstrat. It (and its colleagues) brought the guitar back to life. I have it either between full humbucking or nsplit coil. Both voices are nice, but I particularly like the warm and articulate neck tone. A breeze to fit also.

Great pickup!

Wanted to change the bridge pickup on my strat. I went for this DiMarzio Air Norton and was not let down. The sound to me is a fat singlecoil rather than something like a humbucker, but for me that was perfect. I do not have to much experience with changing pickups but the process was quite easy and compared to the pickup I had, this is miles ahead!

Lovely warm fat sound.

I put this in the neck position of my Ibanez SA260 and it gives a lovely smooth, warm, fat sound that is pure honey. Sounds very similar to the neck pup on a MusicMan Axis. A great choice for soloing. Certainly the best neck pup that I've come across so far. Excellent!
