Ich verwende das DW 6BL auf der Dotzauer-Basstrompete vorwiegend zum Weisenblasen. Hierbei sind weiche Bindungen, aber auch z.T. weite Tonsprünge gefragt. Ich habe schon mehrere Mundtücke ausprobiert und war bisher nie voll zufrieden. Mit diesem Denis Wick treffe ich die Töne viel besser und sie sprechen mühelos an, sowohl in hohen, als auch tiefen Lagen. Besonders angenehm ist der relativ flache Rand für ermüdungsarmes Blasen sowie der, nach etwas Eingewöhnung erzielbare, volle und warme Ton.
