I am a solo Guitar vocalist with backing tracks working in hotels and bars. I have been using two Bose S1 Pro powered speakers plus a small stage monitor. I tried to reduce my gear, so I bought this dB unit with the intention of using it slightly behind me so I could dispose of my monitor speaker. This works, no significant feedback and careful adjustment of the top line array angle provides decent stage foldback. I have noticed, however a less "comfortable " sound..the dB line array and sub seem to leave a noticeable gap in the mid frequencies. I now use the dB behind at left and a single Bose S1 Pro to my right. The result is now excellent. All my signals go via a small on-stage mixer into the PA..Very pleased with final result.

Ich bin DJ und habe mir die Anlage aus reiner Neugier zugelegt, weil ich etwas Kleines und Leichtes für maximal 50 Personen wollte.
Die Verarbeitung ist tadellos, wie man es von dB Technologies gewohnt ist.
Zum Test:
Meiner Meinung nach geraten solche kleinen Anlagen recht schnell an ihre Leistungsgrenze. Die Boxen kommen vor allem dann schnell an ihr Limit, wenn man am DSP-preset in den Club- oder Bass Boost-Preset wählt. Die Höhen sind recht schrill, lassen sich jedoch am Mischpult gut nachregeln. Für eine richtige Club-Party bekommt man hier keine wirklich lauten Boxen. Für Alleinunterhalter oder ähnliche Anwendungen sind sie sicher brauchbar, aber für einen DJ eher weniger.
Ich würde sagen, für wirklich kleine Events und kleinere Räume reichen sie vollkommen aus, aber für mehr leider nicht. Daher gingen sie auch wieder zurück an Thomann. Trotzdem sind sie das Geld durchaus wert.

Good for DJs, but Acoustic acts beware

Lots of the glowing reviews here are from DJs who tend to scoop the mid out of their PAs. Ok, so I'm a Live Engineer with an acoustic solo and duo act and I have the larger 503 for my band, love it. This 602 meanwhile, while smaller and easier to carry is just lacking too much in the mid range to carry voice and acoustic guitar effectively. We are running the signal nicely from the desk, properly gain staged and yet the input is clipping on the 602. So if you're an Acoustic act beware. Perfect for DJs who don't need an honest sound or the vocals to cut through, but live singers should try it first. I got the Thomann covers, and the pocket is way too small, and it doesn't close so wires can fall out

Good item for very small events

One of these speakers is sufficient for a very small event such as 20 ppl max. birthday party. The equipment is easy to handle and looks good, unfortunately I had to return because I was expecting it would work for bit larger events. It heated up quickly when turned all the way up - so be very careful.

Can be used for many things

I bought two if these for smallest gigs and gathering and perhaps to use as side fill on bigger events. They are surprisingly good for the price, and im looking forward to try them more. But i buy a bigger and more powerful ones to use as my main. I cant find anywere what the RMS watts are. These are no beasts. Just small system in a small package and can be used for many things.

We use the ES 602 as a Side fill setup in our band 4 piece 2 guits 3 vox elec drums and bass, as long as you take the low lows (70 Hz and below) out of it it does the job fine

Mám zakúpené 2ks,ako stereo to hra veľmi pekne.Subwooferi na svoju veľkosť prekvapia,satelity sú dosť jednosmerné,čiže ich treba dať ďalej od seba.Na 60%~70% volume je zvuk pekný,potom samozrejme nastupuje limiter LED a zvuk je už trocha skresleny.Do budúcna treba vyriešiť pohyb satelitov a bodol by aj bluetooth.Co sa týka akcií do 50-70 osôb max v malých až stredne veľkých miestnostiach,jeden pár je ok s dostacujucim výkonom.

great speakers for the price

I've only had a pair of these for a week or so, so far i love them.
Unfortunately the speaker pole did break on first use, I am giving benefit of the doubt as a manufacturing defect and Thomann have been very helpful in getting a new part sent out, I will try to update my review if my opinion changes, to me this is well worth the money!
