Ich habe diese Saiten erstmals beim Blindtest-Versuch auf dem Guitar Summit 2019 in Mannheim getestet - und gehörte zu den 75%, die im Vergleich auf 4 identischen Gitarren den Unterschied zu unbeschichteten Saiten weder hören bzw. spüren konnten. Auf meiner Sitkafichte/Mahagoni-Dreadnaught aufgezogen bringen die Saiten einen warm-dunklen und zugleich hell-glockigen Sound, also genau wie man ihn sich für so ein Instrument wünscht. Nach den ersten Wochen im Gebrauch ist kaum eine soundmäßige Veränderung spürbar - das erwartet man auch von einem Satz dieser Preisklasse. Bin gespannt, wie es sich längerfristig zeigt. Als langjähriger Elixier-User erwäge ich einen Wechsel zu diesen XT-Saiten.

Habe diese Saite auf meine Martin 000-15M Burst aufgezogen um damit einen differenziert-kräfigeren Sound zu erhalten. Das hat zu Beginn auch prima geklappt, aber nach 12 - 15 Std. Übungszeit war der Sound abgestumpft und leer und meine Fingerkuppen malträtiert.
Die Saiten sind für mich bei dieser Gitarre ungeeignet, werde also wieder 11er oder 12er Daddario verwenden.

Ce tirant convient bien au frettage quelque peu usé de ma vieille Yamaha F-310.
