The pedalboard that grows

Those who appreciate order in their effects collection and value a smooth performance in the rehearsal room or on stage can hardly avoid the purchase of a pedalboard. The D'Addario XPND 1 provides the required order and overview thanks to its patented telescopic technology. The usable surface of the board can be extended to almost twice the length, and can thus be individually adapted to the type and number of effects used. Despite the low weight of 1.49kg, the aluminium construction is enormously robust. Additionally, it has a cleverly designed cable management system that prevents cable clutter on the one hand and enables quick and easy replacement of effects on the other.

Expandable and ready to go

Since there is no standard size for effects pedals, users of several devices are often confronted with the problem of organising their setup sensibly and accommodating the pedals in a permanent and practical way. Thanks to the extension with the pull-out second level, the D'Addario XPND 1 offers enough possibilities in this regard and thus brings the most different types of effects and their sometimes extremely different sizes clearly under one roof. To ensure that all your favourite effects can be placed safely on the board, the pedalboard includes a set with enough hook and loop fasteners for the pedals and for the fully extended length of both rails, as well as four cable management clips. The additional hook and loop fasteners offer further opportunities to avoid any cable tangles in the best possible way.

Ideal for the foot space

The D'Addario XPND 1 pedalboard offers all users of various types of effect pedals a good opportunity to store the pedals used in a sensible, safe, and practical way. Thanks to the cable management system, the required cables almost disappear within the robust aluminium construction and can nevertheless be reached quickly when you want to switch out specific pedals. This makes it easy to prepare for the upcoming gig or to quickly try out a new effect during rehearsals with your band. The special feature of the D'Addario XPND 1, however, is and remains the option of extending it with the additional slide-out segment. This means that this board is not only recommended for professionals who have a lot of pedals, but also for ambitious beginners who want to be sure that there is room for any future pedal acquisitions.

About D'Addario

In the world of stringed instruments, D'Addario is one of the largest manufacturers of strings themselves. The origins of the brand date back to 17th century Italy, but production was moved to New York in 1905 and even today, the brand's strings are still made and further developed in the USA. D'Addario now offers something for every need, from simple and low-priced strings to coated models and Hex-core strings. Apart from strings, the range has been expanded to include various accessories for guitarists, and other brands such as Planet Waves, Evans, Rico, and Pro Mark, which manufacture accessories for various groups of instruments, now also belong to D’Addario.

One board - a thousand possibilities

Regardless of whether you're going to the next gig with numerous effects of different types and sizes, or with just two or three of the most important pedals for an impromptu session: The D'Addario XPND 1 pedalboard offers an enormous number of ways to flexibly adapt your effects setup to the given requirements. The robust aluminium construction is just as convincing as the cleverly designed cable routing together with the hook and loop fasteners, which allow the board to be neatly organised or restructured in no time at all. The matching D'Addario Backline Pedalboard 1 bag is a useful accessory, especially for musicians who are often on the road: There is hardly a better way to protect your favourite effects during transport.

Great pedalboard

Really fun to assemble and setup. The only minus to think about is that for a small pedalboard it is quite heave, sepecially when you put your pedals on. But it's stury, extendable, and well made. What more could you want, definetly recommend it!

Oui, mais...

Excellente construction.
