Bei unserem hochwertigen 1/2 (Leih-)Cello war ein kompletter Saitenwechsel fällig. Ich kaufte zunächst einen preiswerteren Satz als die daddario prelude-Saiten und zog ihn auf. Danach wollte meine Tochter nicht mehr üben - das Cello klang kalt und quietschte recht. Daraufhin kaufte ich auf Anraten unseres Cellovermieters daddario prelude-Saiten, welche einen weitaus wärmeren, weicheren und ausdrucksstärkeren Klang erzeugen. Sie lassen sich zudem leichter und flüssiger bespielen als die vorher aufgezogenen Saiten und neigen deutlich weniger zum Quietschen.
