I bought both medium and hard strings, and you can definitely feel the difference while playing. It’s not that one is better than the other—it just depends on the sound you’re looking for. I use the hard strings for fiddle-style playing (bluegrass and similar genres) and the medium strings for classical music. Both sets are for my electric violin, which I use on my Yamaha SV130.

At first, the strings went out of tune quite quickly, but after 2–3 weeks of regular playing, they settled in and became more stable. I would recommend the hard strings for fiddle playing rather than classical, as they suit that style better.

Nada mal por su precio, personalmente las utilizo en un violín eléctrico, en el que funcionan bien y no suelen desafinarse.

Les doy un uso poco frecuente, pero aun así se me antojan tremendamente duraderas. En 6 meses siguen como el primer día en cuanto a construcción se refiere, al usarlas con violín eléctrico no puedo evaluar su sonido correctamente, aunque no deja nada que desear en proporción al precio.

Resumiendo, unas cuerdas geniales si no quieres gastar demasiado, recomendables para un violin eléctrico y una gran alternativa a las clásicas Dominant. Muy satisfecho con el producto.

Combien ai-je dépensé, en trente ans de violon, en essais de jeux de cordes divers et de marques variées, sans jamais être pleinement satisfait ? Je préfère ne pas le savoir.

Je n'étais jamais entré en contact avec ce modèle jusqu'à ces cinq dernières années (je crois), mais je ne change plus ! Je connaissais déjà d'Addario pour ses excellentes cordes de guitare, je suis enchanté par ses modèles pour le violon.

Attention toutefois : ces cordes, avec CE tirant, conviennent parfaitement à MON violon et à MON style de jeu : principalement bluegrass, country, cajun, celtic, blues. Par définition, il n'est pas certain, si vous ne les avez pas encore testées, qu'elles vous conviennent parfaitement, ainsi qu'à votre instrument.

Mais aussi bien pour leur qualité sonore que pour leur longévité, elle méritent franchement l'attention de vos doigts et de vos oreilles.
