Old School sound, very good
I've used these strings for the past year, and I really like them. They give me that old, Willie Nelson-ish sound. However, I see how that can be a little limiting for some. Overall, it's a great, warm sound right from the get-go.

Versatile
I use these both running the guitar through an amp and unplugged. Good quality sound, the lower end is rounded and strong, the higher end is soft, doesn't get "tinny". If you want a brighter high end they might be a bit lacking.
