Great sounding pedal

I've messed around with MANY fuzzes and different tweed amp in a box pedals trying to cop a fair imitation of Neil Young's crazy horse era sound. This one nails it perfectly, add a little or a lot of spring reverb and some Echoplex and it's Young-virana, Godfather of grunge paradise.

Pros: Sounds great
Cons: Can I have one covered in battered tweed with a chrome face plate and chicken head knobs please! Also, I think the Volume knob would be better called saturation.

Be like Neil Young

Be like Neil Young fronting crazy horse, weld era. Add echo, reverb and volume. Its a great pedal, really responsive to pick dynamics if you take time to find the sweet spot for your pickups. Clean chiming gentle picking and rough broken sputtering power solo, without touching the dials.

The Tweed Sound I was looking for and more!

I was looking for a pedal to give me the tweed sound of Neil Young and others and came across this pedal in online reviews. It really exceeded my expectations. The build quality seems really good and the sound is easy to dial in and relatively versatile with the switch to choose between the 61' and the 55' sounds. The '55 delivers the crazy and unruly drive of a tweed amp, whereas the 61' provides less gain and tighter bass and cleans up very nicely for some extra sparkle. Great to pair with my treble booster!
I am very happy with my purchase.

Sehr guter Fender Amp in a Box

War - nachdem ich mit meinem J. Rockett .45 Caliber als JTM45 in a Box sehr zufrieden bin - nun auf der Suche nach nem gleichwertigen Pedal um die Fender-Ecke abzudecken. Der Falcon macht das sehr gut. Hab ihn gegen einen Greer Amps Tomahawk antreten lassen und da hat er sich hervorragend geschlagen. Der Falcon (ebenso wie der .45 Caliber) verändert den Grundsound meines Laney Lionheart (britische Serie) nur gerade so viel wie ich das haben möchte. Der Sound kriegt dieses typische Fender-Mittenbild, die Höhen sind allerdings auch 'n bisschen gedeckt.

Was mich am meisten überrascht hat, ist, dass der '55/'61-Kippschalter wirklich viel mehr als nur 'n Gimmick ist. Ich verwend die '61-Seite für Clean und die '55-Seite für Neil Young mäßige exploding Speaker Sounds.
