Quality for the price
The purchase was smooth and was kept up to date with progress By Thomann. The bass out of the box felt natural in my hands. Craftmanship is high quality. This bass is nicely balanced and very playable. The electronics provide a variety of tones making this a versatile bass, the sustain is great. The only con for me is the case but at this price for the quality of the build, I can live with it. If you are in the market for a bass in this price range I would strongly suggest give one a try.

Simply Stunning
This is a stunning bass by Cort.
The craftsmanship is brilliant. Every component is premium.
It plays beautifully. I am only starting out with bass, but this is by far the best I have played.
There are so many options for tone that I haven't explored them all after a couple of weeks of playing.

Fantastic bass. Beautiful and affordable with professional features/quality
Some beautiful big name brands are made at the Cort (Cor-Tek) even after move from Korea to Indonesian MEGA facility.. Fenders/Squiers, PRS, Ibanez, Lakland etc... They know what they are doing and with the A4 Ultra Ash they have created a professional quality bass at a mid-level price. It is very similar to some Ibanez top tier stuff. The electronics are great and there are no defects with anything other than slight fret buzz on Gstring due to low setup. It came playable out of the box excepting tuning. Cort stuff is fantastic value and they make some high quality instruments like this one. Thomann service is impeccable as well. Delivered from Germany to Canada in 8 business days :) A+++ German precision!
