Quality
I have been playing all types of whistles for a long time but never a low D whistle, so i done some research and came across the Chieftain custom low d, so i took a chance and ordered one,
Pros- beautiful looking, nice weight, and a superb deep sound,
the holes are closer together so making it easy to handle
Cons- price was more than i ever paid for a whistle but worth every penny,

A great low whistle for a good price!
I got this to play jigs n reels in order to practice more quietly than my irish flute.
It serves that purpose very well, but also has enough volume for a smaller session, and the tone is of very good quality, not too breathy and not too bright.
Response is excellent and air requirements are good for the tone that it gives you.
