Die Leiter, sowohl der beiden Adern, als auch der nackten Masse-Beilauflitze, welche mit der darum gewickelten Alufolie einen notdürftigen Schirm herstellt, bestehen aus wenigen, groben Litzen. Deshalb ist das Kabel steif und neigt bei Torsion rasch zum Schlaufenwurf. - Ich vergleiche diese Starrheit des Kabels als die ungefähre Mitte zwischen einem Netz-Installationskabel aus starrem Draht für Hauswände sowie einem mäßig flexiblen, dreiadrigen 230-Volt-Netzkabel wie z.B. für Stehlampen (3x 0.75 mm2).

Ich kann dieses Kabel nur für Verdrahtungen innerhalb eines Geräts empfehlen, welches nur gelegentlich geöffnet wird. Dafür wäre die rudimentäre Beweglichkeit dieses Klingeldrahts noch ausreichend. Als Patchkabel taugt es auch nicht, nach 20x kritischer Bewegung wäre es am Ende - interner Litzenbruch.

Die Einzelleiter sind im Verhältnis zum Gesamtquerschnitt des Kabels überraschend dick, damit die ohmschen Verluste gering. ABER die kapazitiven Verluste des Kabels je Meter sind hoch. Die Leiter liegen dicht beieinander, es gibt keinerlei stabilisierende/füllende Einlagen/Stoffseelen. Damit ist das Kabel zudem sehr empfindlich gegen Tritt- und Kantenbelastungen. Dieses Argument spricht erneut gegen jeden Einsatz außerhalb eines Gerätegehäuses.

Die Beschaltung mit asymmetrischen Tonsignalen verbietet sich wegen Mikrofonie im Kabel.

Von diesem Kabel rate ich ab. Es ist minderwertig und preisunwürdig.

Verzeihung, liebes Thomann-Team, aber gute Meterware-Kabel kommen von Sommer Cable, Mogami, Klotz, Belden und Cordial - in dieser Reihenfolge -, den Rest kann man getrost vergessen. Für die Montage von Bastelware sind mir meine Zeit und Mühe zu schade.
