Altogether, this bundle offers an effective and compact solution for delivering clear, balanced sound in smaller spaces or on a terrace.

A versatile mixer amp for a sophisticated sound

On the front of the silver Bose Professional mixer amplifier, just to the right of the power button, is an XLR combo jack that enables users to connect either a microphone via XLR or a line-level signal via a jack cable. The adjacent gain control allows amplification of up to 50dB, and the unit uses a high-quality Class D amplifier supported by internal digital signal processing that ensures optimised performance for clear, refined sound. On the rear panel, two inputs (A and B) can be selected from the front for convenient operation, each with independent level control. Further settings can be configured using the DIP switches below the page input, such as choosing whether the input source follows the master output level or operates with a fixed level.

Effective, room-filling reinforcement

This bundle includes four white Bose Professional FreeSpace FS2C ceiling speakers, each equipped with a 2.25" driver capable of reproducing frequencies from 83Hz to 19kHz at a maximum sound pressure level of 99dB SPL, reaching 105dB at peak. With a wide dispersion angle of 145°, they can be spaced generously across the ceiling and away from walls – providing consistent, effective room coverage. Their weather-resistant design also makes them suitable for restaurant gardens, roof terraces, and other outdoor settings. A Euroblock socket is provided for the output, ensuring clean and simple cable routing.

The Bose Professional FreeSpace IZA 190-HZ delivers 88dB of dynamic range with a low latency of 10.4ms from analogue input to digital output. The setup of the mixer amplifier is simple and flexible, with all parameters adjustable directly on the device without the need for complex software configuration. Finally, its compact design allows it to sit on any work surface or be installed in a 19" rack using a rack mount kit (sold separately).

Design the ideal setup and the perfect sound

If the system is also going to be used to make announcements, users can hook up the necessary equipment via the XLR combo jack located to the right of the power button, which enables the flexible connection of a microphone via XLR or a line signal via a jack cable. The adjacent gain control provides amplification of up to 50dB through the high-quality Class D amplifier, and a 2-band EQ on the front panel allows bass adjustment at 100Hz and midrange at 7kHz by up to 6dB. On the rear panel, a high-pass EQ preset at 60Hz can be activated to optimise performance for all connected Bose Professional FreeSpace FS2C/SE and FS4C/SE speakers, and this preset can also be applied to the AUX output via a DIP switch.
