Habe mir das Teil auf Verdacht geholt, in der Hoffnung, dass das Rauschen in analogen Geräten wie einem Vocal-Compressor oder einem Gitarren-Amp geringer wird. Ergebnis: Ja, wird es. Der erste Eindruck ist ernüchternd - aber natürlich bringt auch der sauberste Strom nicht absolute Stille in einen High-Gain-Amp wie den Peavey 5150. Eine kleine Testaufnahme hat mir aber bewiesen: Mit dem Teil im Stromfluss erzeugt ein Anschlag der Saiten nicht eine so hohe Stromspitze - der Sound wird weniger komprimiert und klingt sehr viel gleichmäßiger. Auch die Vocal-Chain mit Preamp und zwei Kompressoren klingt etwas friedlicher.

Zur Verarbeitung: Stabil, schwer, gute Qualität. Ein Tipp (steht in den Bewertungen der 6-Anschluss-Version): Falls das Ground-Lämpchen nach Anschluss an einer Steckdose nicht leuchtet, einfach mal den Stecker herumdrehen. Und noch was: Ja, der Conditioner funktioniert auch, wenn er an eine Verlängerungssteckdose angeschlossen wird. Bei vorgeschalteten Mehrfachsteckern sollte man natürlich drauf achten, keine Hochlastgeräte zusätzlich anzuschließen.
