Great sounding, but not user friendly.

Looking great, feeling good, strong build quality and classic PPG wavetable sound, but really annoying user interface. I loved it from the looks to the sound, but every time i was trying to edit anything, from system parameters to sound, the digital menu is horrible. Behringer did a really great job in the design and construction of the hardware, but decided to make the user interface menu close to the original, and that was a mistake. This instrument needs a totally new UI menu system to start having fun with it.

Baffling but totally cool

The free Soundtribe software makes working with it a lot easier. I actually appreciate and love the faithful reproduction - clunky buttons like a PC keyboard, but they've added little things to slightly improve things like the data knob. The added second "oscilloscope" display is gimmicky but useful when you use the free software. I've read lots of complaints about the keyboard, but the velocity issue is better with updated firmware and I love the aftertouch (neither on the original).
What I struggle with is Group A + B, splits and layering - I'm pretty sure A+B have to share the same wavetable but can start at different places. The emulation of the wavestation with transients (think samples) via the software does not make this a sampler.
But at least it stays in tune unlike the original.
