Real SM58's are known for their durability. The build quality on this Behringer SM58S copy is very good. The original would probably survive more abuse, but for average users, the Behringer is ideal.I had a real SM58S, and I can tell you that the switch is not silent as claimed. This copy weighs about the same, looks the same, though the switch is slightly different. You can buy 6 of these for the price of the original. Last time I looked, the real SM58S was made in China anyway, and the SM58 in Mexico. The Behringer is nicely presented in a hard case. Stick a windshield on it, and most people can't tell the difference.
