Tricky
May just been me but I found it a little tricky to get to 'click' in to place. Once it was there though it seems really stable. I would certainly recommend this to other drummers looking to make their ring a little more stable ;-)

A must for miking
This 'O' ring is a must for the front head on bass drums to allow miking if playing gigs or recording in the studio. Its made of tough plastic and stops the front head from getting damaged when a microphone is placed in the bass drum + it also adds to the resonance of the drum. To cut a hole in the head, you can use the 'O' ring as a template + cut a circle SLOWLY using preferably a hobby knife !

Excellent product.
I've used these on every kick drum I've owned for at least the last 25 years.
Easy to apply, the look great, and also keep a ported resonant head from tearing. They will last as long as the head you put them on, and I've even removed them and put them on replacement heads. This doesn't always work well, but they can work if done very carefully.

Amazing
Really easy to install. It looks really nice with silver hardware. Protects the edge of the he if stuff things into the drum.

Got O's?
Well, you should. At least if aesthetics are important to you. A perfect example of a dirt cheap accessory offering way more than it's intended to.
