Great Upgrade !

This resolved a number of issues I was having in setting up my bass. For me it wasn't a simple swap as most of the holes didn't line up perfectly due to the original bridge not being a standard hole pattern. This meant filling two screw holes and drilling more then making the string through holes in the body inline with the bridge. Not a major issue if you have the tools and ability but something to be aware of, my advice is to remove your old bridge first before ordering this to see if the holes are in a straight line.
I am very pleased with the ease of adjustment this gives me and the ultra low string height it allows, I no longer need a neck shim to get my action as low as I like and the spacing seems much more even than on the old bridge.
I have it fitted to a Godin Freeway 4 bass which benefits a lot from this upgrade, tuning is much more accurate and quicker now too.
It's a little pricey but I think it's worth it, my bass is so much nicer to play now !

Low string height

This bridge allows for a very low string height / low action.
With other high price bridges I have had to shim the neck of my
Warmoth basses - shimming isn't necessary with this bridge.
The build quality isn't great, I like Schaller better - this could be because of the very low weight of this bridge.

Really nice unit, well constructed. Only downside I though this was metal 'high-mass" but it is light weight polished aluminium.

I really enjoy having this bridge installed on my bass.
It comes with ferrules for string-through bodies and is very easy to adjust. I think the FCH hardware is one of the best quality products you can install in your bass / guitar.
