Exceptional versatility and excellent sound
The Audio-Technica ATM350U is a high-quality clip-on condenser microphone, designed for miking almost any acoustic instrument to provide natural and detailed sound. With an impressive maximum sound pressure level of 159dB SPL, it captures clear and balanced audio without distortion, even at extremely high volumes. Its compact and lightweight design provides freedom of movement on stage while keeping the mic positioned in the instrument's sweet spot. True to Audio-Technica's reputation, the ATM350U delivers exceptional sound quality and durability at a competitive price.
Always in the sweet spot
The Audio-Technica ATM350U features a versatile clip mount that easily attaches to most instruments. For more specialised applications, Audio-Technica offers dedicated mounting options, such as the ATM350PL for pianos, ATM350W for woodwinds, and ATM350D for drums. A hook-and-loop fastener for mounting on violins is included in the package. The microphone's durable gooseneck allows for quick and precise positioning, holding its place securely once adjusted. Like most condenser microphones, the ATM350U requires phantom power for operation.
Designed for the stage
The Audio-Technica ATM350U is a high-quality clip-on microphone designed for professional stage use, offering exceptional sound performance. Its fixed cardioid polar pattern provides excellent directionality, effectively reducing sound pickup from the sides and rear. This ensures clear, isolated capture of the instrument while minimising feedback. An 80Hz high-pass filter can be activated via the power module to help reduce low-frequency noise for a cleaner sound. Additionally, the capsule is fully encased in foam to ensure protection against wind noise and physical damage, making it a reliable choice for demanding live performances.

Natural sound for all instruments
With its balanced sound and impressive sound pressure level, the Audio-Technica ATM350U is a highly versatile instrument microphone. Whether recording the bright tones of a soprano saxophone or the deep resonance of a double bass, the ATM350U maintains clarity and detail. Its universal clip mount allows for secure attachment to a variety of plucked instruments, such as mandolins. For more specialised applications, dedicated mounts tailored for pianos, woodwinds, and drums are available.
