i had the Audio-Technica ATH-M50X for about 4 years now
still going strong yet the padding was tearing apart so i order the first one not knowing that it come as one piece then i ordered the second one, they are really nice especially after a day since the foam needed some time to take it shape after the shipping.
the headphone now feels like new yet i think it would prefer to go with a different brand maybe or more thicker padding but u can never go wrong with this.
