A microphone with good dynamic sound quality, but is quite complicated to install in a way that it fits on the users ear. Usually hanging somewhat loose, even when using tape. The cable is quite thin with cheap soldering in both ends without any stress relievers on the cable, resulting in a short lifespan of the microphone. Sad that there are no spare cables available for this microphone :(

Ich nutze das COBT für Podcast-Aufnahmen mit einem Tascam DR-40 (und Phantomspeiseadaptern). Die Qualität ist hervorragend für diesen Preis. Das Handling ist sogar noch besser: Die Gesprächspartner (meist unerfahren mit Tontechnik) haben sich nie beklagt, das etwas nicht sitzt oder drückt oder stört. Selbst starkes Antippen dicht hinter der Mikrokapsel schlägt nicht auf die Aufnahme durch. Einziger Schwachpunkt: Bei Ohrbügelmikros muss der Mikrofonarm fast immer mit einem kleinen Klebestreifen an der Wange fixiert werden.
