Aquarian / de johnette / great combination
Amongst drumhead manufacturers Aquarian is at the level of Evans or Remo. So, for me I don?t see the point to battle about who?s the best between the 3 of them... it is more a matter choice. I personally really enjoy this de johnette. If you want to try something different, a bit wild, this one is for you. Rather dry and very focus, not much of ringing and the look is also neat.
On the other hand, I had to try one of their inverted power dot, and I really don?t like them. Just playing a power dot head feels not right for me.Aquarian or any other brand.

Great Quality
Beautiful dry sounding head, textured feel for brushes and a lot of durability. Can't really be tuned low, but great for midrange and above.

Unreal difference
I really did not expect much of a difference as I had been using decent remo heads but the tug and crack off my snare now is superb and the black looks deadly.

Second to None
Have been using this skin for ~10 years now on every snare I've owned.
Has great range, holds up well regardless of the type of music or how hard it's being battered.
Can't remember a gig where another drummer hasn't asked me about the snare head, either because of it's look or it's sound.
