i bought this head for my pearl decade maple, to replace the old evans ec2 (which is great by the way) and it's definitely not for me. is it single ply, or something that aquarian does, but it has bunch of sustain and "thin" sound, but no richness or the warmth of the tone.
it is quality made, built to last (especially coating) but overall - not my jam.

meilleure peau coated simple pli que j'ai joué. Plus durable, plus facile à accorder, meilleure position sur le chanfrein... par rapport aux Evans G1 et Remo Ambassador pour moi. La forme du cercle métallique où est logé la peau y est pour beaucoup. Le coated dure plus longtemps que celui des concurrents, vraiment. Le son est plus beau, "sablé", propre, moins d'harmoniques que sur les peaux similaires des concurrents mais pas mat pour autant. Vraiment top.
