Als Wiederanfänger nach langen Jahren der Gitarrenabstinenz war ich lange auf der Suche nach einer Lernunterlage, die die Ebene fortgeschrittener Anfänger/anfangender Fortgeschrittener anspricht und wurde hier fündig.Nicht nur sind die Gitarrenheros meiner Zeit repräsentiert, sondern auch einige, mit denen ich mich ansonsten weniger befasse. Nach dem Motto: eigene Ideen sind gut, aber die guten Ideen anderer als Basis zu nutzen (um es vornehm auszudrücken) - das hat was. So habe ich unter lebhafter Nutzung dieses sehr verständlichen und hervorragend mit CD aufbereitenden Werks meine Soli deutlich bereichern können. Das Rezept lautet: Man nehme einen bewährten Lick, und entwickele eine eigene Variante.
Keines meiner anderen Lehrbücher hat mich so schnell spieltechnisch und musikalisch weitergebracht als dieses Buch. Und da es mir so zusagt, bekommt mein Sohn auch ein Exemplar zu Weihnachten!
