A good choice
These are some great sounding earplugs. As a technician working in noisy environments and high volume concerts, these are an excellent investment for my ears. The best thing is that they alter the sound surprisingly little. The fact that you can change the filter is also a game-changer. A negative is that the clips attaching the string to the buds feel like they will come loose, worst case making you drop a bud.
Overall a great product, offered at an even greater price.

Ok with this purchase!
I'm an amateur musician and play in a local orchestra. There is a large wind and brass section and I am concerned that my hearing may be damaged as I sit directly in front of them, so I bought these hoping to protect my hearing whilst playing. They are very good at cutting down the noise level but unfortunately, even with the smallest cones, they completely muffle my violin, filtering out all the resonance which helps me play in tune. It's like playing with a mute on.
If you're looking for a simple reduction in noise level, these are extremely effective.
With the little tool, it's easy to get them in the perfect position and they are really comfortable. It's just a pity they're not suitable for my purpose.

Comfy but not the best clarity
These are good and practical to carry, but not necessarily good if you wanna have a really clear sound.

I'm not sure if this is normal, but they feel very clogged. I tried them the other day and the volume reduction was present, but depending on how the tip was inserted, the sound would be different. I feel like it takes some practice to get them in the right position.
Also, the manual does state to be careful not to insert them too deep!

I thought for the price and other reviews they would be an awful purchase, but I was wrong!
Considering that this is my first ear protection pruduct it seems really good to use! I had no problem fitting them (but here might be different if you have different ears!) and staying with them on a long time!
Sound is not too muffled, I had some issues listening to people voices at concert/Dj events, but the purpouse of the product is to block annoying frequencies, and if they talk during a concert that's exactly what I consider annoying! :D
Bass seems to remain intact for the most part, so to me that's all that count!
At this price, I think even if you keep them in your bag as a second backup unit it won't hurt!

Ear protection for every one
Good quality ear plugs, it takes a while to get used to because it cuts out frequencies they dont isolate you, but now I cant live without them

Alpine MusicSafe Pro - Black Edition
Decent earplugs to help protect your hearing. I have two pairs of these as a backup (and double backup) if i'm not using IEMs. I also would wear these if I was at a bar (listening to music or if the bar is loud). The string keeps the two ear pieces together which is a positive.
