Poor tracking

I was looking forward to placing this pedal permanently onto my pedalboard but the tracking on it is really glitchy. It tracks fine when you're playing fast, but as soon as you pluck a note and let it ring, the tracking starts "glitching out" after a second or two - the sub octave begins to turn on and off rapidly. Reading online it seems this can occasionally happen with analog octave pedals and there are various "fixes", but none of them worked for me. Disappointed, will probably be selling it.
